Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs - 984 Words

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the first full-length animated feature film and the earliest in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series released in 1937. Based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, it the story was adapted by storyboard artists Dorothy Ann Blank, Richard Creedon, Merrill De Maris, Otto Englander, Earl Hurd, Dick Rickard, Ted Sears and Webb Smith. David Hand was the supervising director, while William Cottrell, Wilfred Jackson, Larry Morey, Perce Pearce, and Ben Sharpsteen directed the film s individual sequences. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will show you different stereotypical characters: the princess, the prince, the evil enemy and the friends. We will see many standard scenes that appear in different Disney animated films. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs does not have just one focuses several stereotypes that are be beneficial and useful to teach kids new things like having friends, loving others and not being jealous, and not to talk to strangers. However, the main theme in Seven White and the Seven Dwarfs would be to love yourself. The Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is slightly different than the original story written by the Grimm brothers. In the Grimm’s fairytale, Snow White was known as Snow drop and the evil queen was her mother and not her stepmother. In the end of the story, the wicked witch doesn’t fall off the mountains but makes it to her castle and attends her daughter’s wedding.
